Overview
This project involved creating an engaging, visually rich book that brings Sanskrit rhymes to life for young learners through playful rhymes and culturally meaningful illustrations. The aim was to bridge ancient language heritage with modern educational needs, making Sanskrit accessible and enjoyable for children.
Design Approach
The visual style combines bright and stimulating colors like greens, yellows, pinks, and oranges with culturally inspired earth tones and traditional accents such as saffron and kumkum red. Care was taken to represent diverse Indian skin tones and ensure high contrast for accessibility. Illustrations depict familiar cultural scenes like gurus teaching under banyan trees or children in harmony, appealing to both kids and parents.
