Design Approach

Our collaborative workflow immersed us in the project's spiritual core:

• Deep dive into Śrīmannārāyaṇīyam's narrative and publisher brief, building comprehensive content, typography, and mood boards to capture its bhakti essence.

• Extensive reference gathering across rendering styles (ethereal florals, luminous figures, cosmic motifs), culminating in a vast visual library for inspiration.

• Generated multiple cover concepts (9+ options) with color-blocked palettes evoking divinity—warm golds, serene blues, vibrant reds—presented for client review and selection.​

• Refined the chosen concept through sketching, detailed rendering of the central illustration, and full integration into front, back, and spine layouts with Devanagari-English typography.
